The Rhyming Rogues present "Wait, What Is This?"

Bassinaud Players are delighted to welcome The Rhyming Rogues to our stage for one night only.  On Sunday 9th August at 7pm they will present their show "Wait, What is This?" here at Bassinaud, 16190 Juignac. Please book in advance.

Full to the brim with raunchy, riotous rhyme,

a plot so chaotic, you’ll lose all sense of time.

We’ll stroke your mind and tease your ear,

with cunning turns in iambic gear.

Two rogues, unfiltered, slick with charm,

will rhyme you senseless, and cause alarm.

Tangled twists meet metered bliss –

you’re bound to leave gasping: 'Wait, What is This?'

Lydia Keating and John Harper, aka The Rhyming Rogues, met in 2022 while studying at the International Theatre School of Jacques Lecoq in Paris and have worked together ever since. Now they bring a show written entirely in rhyme. “Wait, What is This?” started life as a five-minute rhyming skit that they have performed at various cabaret nights in London, Paris and Tallinn, and because audiences asked for more, they have written an entire show.

Tickets are free but we welcome donations, either via our ticketing site or on the night. All donations will go to the Rhyming Rogues. Refreshments, toilets and parking too!
